Daily Services at St. Sabbas Orthodox Monastery


• Monastic services are served daily at varying times according to the schedule of this monastery.   Monastic services usually are within one half hour of set times depending on the day.

Midnight Hour 6:00 am

Matins and First Hour 8:15am

Third and Sixth Hours 12:15pm

Ninth Hour and Vespers  6:30pm

(During Lent we serve Ninth Hour/Typical Psalms/Presanctified)

Compline 9:30pm

• Services are monastic, lay people may attend provided the rules of the monastery are followed.  Call for proper information.

Weekly Schedule of Services

Sunday
9:30am - Hours and Divine Liturgy - Hours are served before the Divine Liturgy and sometimes Matins if it has not been served at the vigil the night before.
  
Saturday
5:30pm - Vigil - Followed by confessions.
